How do I add a report filter based on a text variable?
- Click on […] and choose Add
- Select Filter
- Click on the expand arrow to the right of the text variable you wish to use and select the version that isn’t Auto-generated. Click on the variable itself to select it.
- Select either yes or no to whether you want to provide access to filter selections, depending on your preference.
- You can choose between the following methods for selecting which variable to filter by:
- Begins with
- Ends with
- Contains
- Exact match
- Selection
- If you wish to choose more than one variable click Add and select another variable.
- Once you are satisfied with the variable(s) chosen, click Next.
- Name your filter and click Done.
